USC has several involvement opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty, staff and alumni. The LGBT and Ally inclusion on campus is in large part due to the large-scale and thought-provoking programs and events coordinated by the students. Get involved to make a difference on campus and leave your own legacy.
Lavender Celebration. Lavender Celebration (commonly known as Lavender) is a free LGBT and Ally annual graduation ceremony for LGBT and Ally undergraduate and graduate/professional students.
Undergraduate Student Organizations
First-Year Advocacy Board. The First-Year Advocacy Board (FAB) is an immersion program for first year and transfer LGBT & Ally students to assist with the transition from high school or from another university to USC and to provide support through social, academic and excursion events.
Queer Cut. Queer Cut is the LGBTQ+ Organization at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Queers in Engineering, Science, and Technology (QuEST). QuEST is a network of LGBTQ+ identified students studying a STEM field.
Queer People of Color (QPOC). USC Queer People of Color is the first club to focus on the Minority Groups which lie within the LGBTQIA community.
OUTreach. OUTreach is Out to Serve in the Los Angeles LGBT and ally community! Anyone with an interest in community service is welcome to participate.
Rainbow Scholars. Residents of the Rainbow Floor participate in USC’s Rainbow Scholars, a student-run, residential organization dedicated to fostering the USC LGBT Community.
Transgender Advocacy Group (TAG). A place for trans USC students (and allies) to mingle, chill, and dismantle transphobia!
Graduate Student Organizations
Price Queer Policy Caucus. The Price Queer Policy Caucus (QPC) provides a space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Ally (LGBTQ+) students in the Price School to connect and network, as well as to engage with the key policy issues that directly affect LGBTQI individuals and communities.
Keck School of Medicine
LGBT-Thrive: A group of health care professionals, faculty, and students at USC’s Health Sciences Campus and our affiliated hospitals, focused both on impacting medical education and improving the health care we deliver to the LGBT community.
